Why We Started
We got tired of jewelry shopping that felt either intimidating or vague. Pearls, in particular, are often sold with little explanation of what makes one strand different from another. We set out to change that.
PEARL TICA was created to give you a calmer, clearer way to choose pearl jewelry. Every piece is hand-selected, every material is disclosed, and every product page tells you exactly what you need to know before you buy.

How We Select Our Pearls
We work directly with pearl farms and trusted suppliers to source freshwater, Akoya, Tahitian, and South Sea pearls. Each pearl is evaluated by hand across five dimensions: luster, surface quality, shape consistency, color and overtone, and nacre thickness.
Only a small fraction of the pearls we inspect make it into a finished PEARL TICA piece. The rest are returned to our suppliers. We would rather offer fewer styles than compromise on what reaches your jewelry box.
